RocketBoat slowly passes the sea lions, then ignites in a full power charge to the Bay Bridge, zips by AT&T Park - home to the World Champions San Francisco Giants, rounds Treasure Island and then cruises past infamous Alcatraz Island before returning back to homebase at PIER 39.
Passengers will be entertained with a live narration from the captain and crew. These 30- minutes of thrills are enhanced with a classic Rock 'n Roll soundtrack.
RocketBoat features twin 16VM70 engines, each rated at 1410 horsepower and at 2100 rpm. The all-aluminum vessel uses water jets to achieve its top speed. RocketBoat is powered by a mixture of bio-diesel fuel. Rocket Boat will blast-off at 44 knots, giving its 135 passengers an exhilarating rush! If you want to get wet, sit towards the back. The front and middle seats tend to stay drier.
Rocketboat tours runs seasonally beginning May 13 - October 27, 2013, departs from PIER 39. Cruises may not operate during inclement weather. All prices include narration. Service animals allowed. No reserved seating available. All passengers must be at least 40" tall to ride.
Rocketboat's route and schedule are subject to Bay conditions.
As this is a high powered ride, guests should be in good health and free from high blood pressure, heart, back or neck problems, osteroporosisi, motion sickness or other conditions that could be aggravated by this adventure. Bumping may occur - expectant mothers and children under 3 yeas old should not ride. Guests may get wet during the ride. Rocketboat is not responsible for loss or damage to personal property.
