This trip requires a full day to experience the beauty of this magnificent National Park known for its huge granite domes, expansive valley and great waterfalls.
Upon early morning pickup, this tour takes you through the Central Valley where much of our country’s agriculture is grown. There is a short refreshment stop along the way. Then it’s on to Yosemite National Park, often referred to as one of America’s national treasures.
Nowhere else in the world are there as many big falls in such a small area including the 2,425-foot Yosemite Falls, the highest fall in North America. The granite building blocks of the Sierra Nevada, including El Capitan and Half Dome are among the state’s most spectacular assets. So beautiful is Yosemite, that it was the first land ever set aside by the U.S. Congress for protection in 1864.
Once you arrive in Yosemite National Park, there will be many wonderful photo opportunities in the Yosemite Valley. At the park, the driver conducts a narrated tour of the highlights of Yosemite including:
- Bridal Veil Falls
- Eagle Point
- El Capitan
- Half Dome
- Merced Water
- Three Brothers
- Tunnel View
- Yosemite Falls
- Yosemite Valley
You then will have approximately 2 hours on your own for shopping, dining, a walk to Yosemite Falls or the Yosemite Tram Tour. The majestic beauty of the park is world famous. The drive back to the city will include a fantastic sunset on the way back to the Bay Area.

Hotel Guests: This tour begins with complimentary hotel pick up 1 hour (Union Square area hotels) to 30 minutes (Fisherman's Wharf area hotels) prior to tour departure time.
Passengers Not Staying at a Hotel: You will be requested to meet at the main departure terminal located at Fisherman's Wharf.

Driving: Parking is available at a discounted flat rate of $15, please contact tour operator for more information.
SFO Airport hotels: For SFO Airport hotels, complimentary hotel pick up 1.5 hours prior to tour time.
