Each tour lasts approximately 75-90 minutes if you stay on the bus, but you can take as long as you like at each of the hop-on/hop-off stops. Your ticket will be valid for 3 days (72 hours) of unlimited travel from the time of first use.

The fully narrated tours with live guides depart throughout the day and pass most of the major attractions in San Francisco. Hop-on/hop-off* at any or all of the 11 stops around San Francisco to browse, shop or take pictures at your own pace. Then hop on the next bus that comes along; buses arrive every 30 minutes. Tickets are valid for unlimited use for 72 hours. Hop On - Hop Off service available from 9am (departures from main terminal) to 5pm. Additional fees apply for admission to attractions. Double decker and single level buses are used.

  • Sausalito: Transfer at the South Vista Point, this tour travels into the picturesque coastal town of Sausalito. Spend the afternoon browsing the quaint shops and galleries, sipping cappuccino at an outdoor café or just exploring the waterfront where you’ll capture some of your best photos of San Francisco – the City by the Bay. When your through you can hop a ferry back to San Francisco (fare not included), catch the Muir Woods tour (additional fee applies) or just wait for the next bus back to San Francisco.
  • Presidio National Park: If you return from Sausalito on the bus it’s back across the Golden Gate Bridge, into the Presidio National Park (a former military base and now home to the LucasFilm Letterman Complex) and peek at the mansions of Pacific Heights, San Francisco’s priciest real estate. 
  • The departs from and returns to Fisherman’s Wharf
  • Daily: Hourly 10am-5pm - every hour during the summer; last bus departs Sausalito at 5pm. This tour lasts approximately 90 minutes. Stay on the bus and the full our takes 90 minutes or hop on – hop off for exploring on your own.


The Golden Gate Park Tour departs from Union Square

  • Japantown: On the way to Golden Gate Park travel along Geary St., past St. Mary's Cathedral and Japantown.
  • Golden Gate Park: Hop off in beautiful Golden Gate Park so you can visit such renowned attractions as the De Young Museum, Japanese Tea Garden and the  California Academy of Sciences which features an aquarium, a planetarium, a natural history museum and more all under one "living" roof.
  • Haight Ashbury: On the return from Golden Gate Park, the bus visits the famous Haight Ashbury district which maintains the flavor of it's past - hop off for shopping and dining
  • Alamo Square: There's a stop within walking distance to Alamo Square, home to the world famous "Postcard Row Painted Ladies" Victorian houses - an outstanding photo opportunity
  • The Golden Gate Park Tour departs from Union Square
  • Daily: Departs hourly  from Union Square - last bus 4:00pm. Last bus departs Golden Gate Park at approximately 5:45pm.

This one-hour tour of San Francisco includes the best of San Francisco by night: the Financial District, Chinatown, North Beach and the Embarcadero. The fully narrated tour with live guide departs from Fisherman’s Wharf.  This is not a hop-on hop-off tour.
