48 Hour Pass - Tour Operator: CITY SIGHTSEEING

Each tour lasts approximately 60-90 minutes if you stay on the bus, but you can take as long as you like at each of the hop-on/hop-off stops. Your ticket will be valid for 48 hours of unlimited travel from the time of first use.

See San Francisco with the ORIGINAL hop-on/hop-off open top double-decker bus tour. The fully narrated tours with live guides depart throughout the day and pass all of the major attractions in San Francisco. Hop-on/hop-off* at any or all of the 42 stops around San Francisco to browse, shop or take pictures at your own pace. 

Then hop on the next bus that comes along; buses arrive every 30 minutes. Tickets are valid for unlimited use for 48 hours. Hop On - Hop Off service available from 9am (departures from main terminal) to 5pm. Additional fees apply for admission to attractions. Double decker and single level buses are used.

OFFICIAL CITY TOUR

  • Golden Gate Park – An exciting place to visit a number of museums and attractions such as The Conservatory of Flower, The California Academy of Sciences and The deYoung Museum.
  • Haight/Ashbury – More commonly known as the “Hippie District”, Haight maintains the Summer of Love feel with its numerous shops and murals dedicated to the 1960’s
  • Civic Center / City Hall – Great photo opportunities of the San Francisco City Hall structures nearby to the Opera House, Symphony Hall and Bill Graham Civic Auditorium.
  • Union Square – The central shopping district in San Francisco, featuring Macy’s, Tiffany’s, Neiman Marcus, Victoria’s Secret, Saks Fifth Avenue, and hundreds of other major retailers.
  • Fisherman’s Wharf – Located on the northern waterfront, this area is best known for PIER 39 (shopping, restaurants, sea lions and much more), San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park, the Cannery Shopping Center, Alcatraz Landing, and many other attractions.
  • Daily: Departs Every 30 minutes from 9am-5pm.  Approximately 2 hours with no hop on hop off, depending on traffic.


GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE & SAUSALITO TOUR

  • The Golden Gate Bridge – A trip across this famous landmark includes stops on both sides and plenty of photo opportunities.
  • South Vista Point - the best views of the Golden Gate Bridge. Here you can visit the Golden Gate Bridge Welcome Centre, stroll around the Presidio, or relax at the beach at Crissy Field.
  • North Vista Point – with breathtaking views of the San Francisco Bay (weather permitting), and on a nice day you can see the San Francisco skyline, Alcatraz Island and the Bay Bridge.
  • Sausalito - One of the highlights of the San Francisco Bay area. This tour includes a stop there for you to enjoy its galleries, shopping, bay views and its many restaurants. You are able to stop here for just a few minutes, or spend a few hours and catch a later bus back to San Francisco or upgrade to take the Ferry.
  • Departs from and returns to Fisherman’s Wharf
  • Daily: Hourly 10am-5pm - every hour during the summer; last bus departs Sausalito at 4:30pm. This tour lasts approximately 90 minutes. Stay on the bus and the full our takes 90 minutes or hop on – hop off for exploring on your own.
NIGHT TOUR

This 90 minute tour of San Francisco includes the Best of San Francisco by night: Fisherman's Wharf, the Financial District, Chinatown, Nob Hill with the impressive Grace CathedralNorth Beach, and the Embarcadero. The fully narrated tour with live guide departs from Fisherman’s Wharf. Two brief walking tours are included to provide even more photo opportunities.  This is not a hop-on hop-off tour.
Daily: Winter Schedule: Departs 6:00pm; Summer Schedule (May- August): Departs 6:00pm & 7:00pm.  It is recommended you arrive a minimum 20 minutes prior to tour time - seating is first come basis.

FREE 1-Hour Bike Rental with purchase of 1-Hour Bike Rental: At check in you will receive a voucher for a free hour of a bike rental with the purchase of 1-hour bike rental. Take off on the Bay Trail to the Golden Gate Bridge along the Marina Green!  This waterfront ride takes you to the Bridge. Helmet, bike map and lock included.
